BPC-157 (10mg) is a research-use peptide or blend for laboratory work involving repair-focused pathways, tissue-response models, and recovery-oriented study design.
Description
BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound-157) is a synthetic 15-amino acid peptide derived from a protective protein sequence first identified in human gastric juice. Its sequence — Gly-Glu-Pro-Pro-Pro-Gly-Lys-Pro-Ala-Asp-Asp-Ala-Gly-Leu-Val — was characterized by Dr. Predrag Sikiric’s group at the University of Zagreb in the 1990s during gastrointestinal cytoprotection research.
Why Researchers Select BPC-157
BPC-157 is primarily investigated for its role in angiogenesis promotion, nitric oxide pathway modulation, and fibroblast migration enhancement. A notable characteristic in laboratory work: BPC-157 demonstrates measurable activity even in the presence of pro-inflammatory cytokines, making it useful for studying tissue repair signaling under stress-condition models.
Common Research Applications
- Gut mucosal integrity and repair pathway investigation
- Tendon and ligament repair in animal models
- In vitro angiogenesis observation (HUVEC models)
- Inflammatory cytokine interaction studies

Storage Instructions
All our research peptides are manufactured using a lyophilization (freeze-drying) process. This method is designed to maintain product integrity and allows vials to remain stable during shipping for approximately 3–4 months.
Once a vial is reconstituted with bacteriostatic water, it should be stored in the refrigerator to help maintain stability. Under these conditions, reconstituted material is generally considered stable for up to 30 days.
Lyophilization is a dehydration technique in which compounds are frozen and then exposed to low pressure. This causes the water in the vial to sublimate directly from solid to gas, leaving behind a stable, crystalline white structure. This powder can be kept at room temperature until reconstitution.
Upon receipt, products should be stored away from heat and light. For short-term use, refrigeration at approximately 4°C (39°F) is suitable. For long-term storage (several months to years), vials may be placed in a freezer at approximately -80°C (-112°F). Freezing is the preferred method for preserving product stability over extended periods.
