Description

The Mitochondrial Enhancement Research Kit combines MOTS-c (40mg) and 5-Amino-1MQ (50mg) — two compounds that approach mitochondrial function and cellular energy regulation from complementary angles: MOTS-c through mitochondria-to-nucleus retrograde signaling, and 5-Amino-1MQ through NNMT inhibition and NAD⁺ pathway conservation.

Kit Components

  • MOTS-c (40mg): 16-AA mitochondria-derived peptide encoded in the mitochondrial genome. Activates AMPK, upregulates ARE/Nrf2 gene programs, improves insulin sensitivity, and coordinates mitochondrial stress responses. Circulating levels decline with age.
  • 5-Amino-1MQ (50mg): NNMT inhibitor. By blocking nicotinamide N-methyltransferase, preserves the SAM pool available for other methylation reactions and shifts NAD⁺/NADH ratios toward improved mitochondrial function. Reduces lipid accumulation in adipocyte models.
